Naidex, the UK's leading event for the Disability Community, proudly announces HSBC as its exclusive headline sponsor for the upcoming event scheduled on 20th-21st March at the NEC Birmingham. The partnership highlights a shared vision of advancing accessibility and inclusivity globally.

HSBC's commitment to digital accessibility is exemplified by the recent launch of their award-winning Accessibility Hub, a platform designed to enhance understanding and equip individuals with the skills needed to navigate the digital landscape inclusively. Initially developed to empower their own staff, HSBC is now extending the reach of this invaluable resource to other organisations and individuals, reaffirming their dedication to being the world's most digitally accessible bank.

The synergy between Naidex and HSBC is evident in their mutual pursuit of creating inclusive environments and empowering every individual. As Naidex continues to champion equity and accessibility, the partnership with HSBC amplifies the event's impact, encouraging greater awareness and driving meaningful change in the digital accessibility sphere.

Steve Clarke, Managing Director of Naidex, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to announce HSBC as our headline sponsors for Naidex 2024. Their pioneering efforts in digital accessibility perfectly complement our mission to promote inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. By joining forces, we aim to break down barriers and set new standards for accessibility, empowering individuals of all abilities to participate fully in the digital age."

By joining forces, Naidex and HSBC aim to inspire innovation, spark conversations, and propel the global accessibility agenda forward. The partnership signals a new era of collaboration, where organisations unite to break down barriers and create a more inclusive society for all.

Mali Fernando, HSBC's Group Head of Digital Experience and Accessibility, says "We are really excited to be a part of Naidex this year. We recognise that we can make a real difference to the communities we are a part of and are working hard to be the world's most digitally accessible bank. We look forward to more organisations at Naidex taking the opportunity to learn more about digital accessibility as part of our public offer to train 1000 people annually in the use of technology that disabled users need to use digital platforms."

Naidex takes place on 20th-21st March at the NEC Birmingham and is free to attend. If you would like to meet with the HSBC team at the event you can visit them on their stand H94. Register your free tickets here.
